Usually…when my daughter asks me to dye her hair…I use the vegan Manic Panic brand, because it washes out easily and only lasts for about 5 days…This time we went for something more semi permanent.
Bluesy’s supersonic, naughty nanny Shauna basically knows how to do everything (except lay golden eggs) and has had experience as a hairdresser so i was lucky to have her profesional help when Bluesy decided she wanted blue & pink hair.
Here is a picture guide on how we did it…..
The inspiration behind bluesy’s hair was Chloe Noorgard but at four year old she’s not patient enough to complete fully rainbow hair. So we used the beauty departments step by step guide they did on Lauren Conrad. Click here to see how its done.

Best bronzer ever. Lasts a long time so worth investment. Smell’s amazing. A very good make-up artist used it on me one time. Anyone who’s borrowed mine has bought one for themselves.
The velvety finish of this light cream-gel bronzer leaves your skin with a beautiful sun-bathed look. Wear it on its own, or for a hint of outdoors radiance!
Because its a creme bronzer I like to use a “stippling brush” to apply it. (thats what the make-up artist used aswell and she said it was the best brush for it)

My Friend Maya introduced me to these sweet smelling tinted lip balms. (couple do not add colour) They are Baby lips by Maybelline. I like “Pink Punch & Peach Kiss”
You can also find these in CVS and Target in America.
First of all It’s a good colour, Second of all your kids can draw on it and you wont get pissed off. I’ve become an addict in the last week and done it to two walls in my house. They look awesome. Luckily my friend Olivia gave me some great advice before i did it. #chalkboardgeek
My friend Nicole smelt pretty damn good the other night. It was because of this oil ‘Huile Prodigieuse’ by the skin care line ‘NUXE’. Apparently…it’s a“secret” and all the models use it. Most pharmacy’s in Paris stock it. Anyway it smell’s really good on your body. It’s a dry oil, with a unique super-activated formula combining 30% precious plant oils and vitamin E, helps nourish, repair and soften face, body and hair. Reviews say it’s good for blemishes on your face and great for dry skin. I kinda just wanna use it all over my body to make it smell like Nicole’s.
Comes in two sizes. the links below lead you to the larger

My good friend and make up artist Rosie Jane created this awesome fragrance Leila Lou (named after her 4 Year daughter). Kate Hudson, Jennifer Garner & Minka Kelly are just a few fans of the fragrance. The line also includes a candle, body lotion & she has just introduced The Leila Lou Eau de Parfum! All of her products are made with 100% essential oils. With notes of Pear Blossom, fresh cut grass and tangerine. You gotta get this shit, whenever I go out wearing it & have it in my bag…..I don’t come home with it because girls seem to always take it from me..SERIOUS!

My brother’s & sister’s alll wore one of these (we all shared the blue one in the picture above)…Floating bathing suits are the SHit. If your kid falls in the water wearing one of these…they will float. As your child becomes more confident swimming, you can start removing the floats one by one. You may think they look weird, but kids seem to think they’re pretty sweet. Check out my sister Chloe above rocking our blue floaty bathing suit back in the 80s. She did a fucking AWESOME job at making it look even more stylish by using some our grandmother’s accessories. Below is my daughter Bluesy modelling one over 20 years later. They’re still VERY fashionable!
Links below lead you too these sweet suits! I love the one’s made by ‘ARCHIMEDE’
Last night, two of my girls Bab’s & Olivia decided to take me to a ‘KOREAN SPA!’ They seemed to think that what I was about to experience was gonna be hilarious….
I had NO idea what to expect. I just don’t do this kinda shit usually. You walk in…get naked, walk around the spa with alll Korean ladies who are also naked. Long, short, hairy, not hairy, whatever…..its accepted. You take advantage of the hot, hot, hot tubs, steam room and sauna (that had a TV in btw, we think it was korean porn but got called in for our scrub before we could find out. Whatever it was just cool to be-able to watch TV in a sauna) before the SCRUBDOWN.
THEN….you walk into a room full of tables with naked ladies on top of them being scrubbed by the Korean chicks in they’re black underwear. You lay down on the table and the scrub-down begins. This goes on for like half an hour. I felt like a wet seal sh-lopping about on the table, trying to stay on every time they threw a bowl of warm water of my body. Guys..they scrub you like your a chicken. They lift EVERYTHING up and scrub it. At one point I looked over at Olivia lying there naked sliding around on the table and her whole body was fucking gleeming.
We also had an amazing acupressure massage after, but i think its worth going to a Korean spa just to experience being scrubbed-down.
Men should try this too! I would LOVE to be a fly on the wall for that!
They have them all over LA. Mainly in Korea Town. Here’s a couple of links to some. Sorry if you don’t live in LA and this doesn’t help. But if you visit….
The pic above is me and Bab’s on our way….super excited to get clean.
My kid loves to make loves to make freshly squeezed Orange juice in the morning’s. Luckily for her, the people who lived here before us planted an orange tree out the front. My grandmother gave me one of these European manual juicers years ago. It definatley gets out allll the juice.

LOVE CIRE TRUDON CANDLES
I discovered this amazing candle when my husband received it as a set gift from one of his cast mates.
It is a Cire Trudon candle and the scent I love is ‘Abd el Kader’. It is inspired by the scent of Morocco, mint tea, tabacco and spices. Even when unlit the scent seems to fill the room and make it feel warm and inviting. And when lit it is one of the strongest candles i have tried.
Although Cire Trudon candles are on the higher-end of luxury candles, the scent and how long it lasts makes the price worth while.
